What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Online Worship Service

We have resumed our Sunday morning Bible school and worship services at the Parsons church of Christ; however, we will continue to stream our worship services for the remainder of the pandemic. If you cannot attend in person, we invite you to worship online at 10:30 AM each Sunday morning by clicking on Facebook LiveStream.

Welcome to the Parsons church of Christ. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope this site answers your questions about the many worship and fellowship opportunities available at our church. Please feel free to read more about our beliefs, and we offer you a special invitation to visit our congregation. We love to greet our neighbors and share our love for Jesus Christ.

Our Comission

Our comission is based on the teaching of Jesus Christ. Before Jesus ascended back into heaven, he told his disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned."

Mark 16: 15-16

We are devoted to spreading the gospel of Christ around the world. To that end, we endeavor to support missionaries in various countries and ministeries in our own country as well. We're excited about the work that is being accomplished, and we look forward to sharing with you how the gospel of Christ is changing lives around the world.

We love our community, and we strive to reach out to our neighbors through various ways. These activities include our Free Market, Hot Chocolate Giveaway, and volunteer work at the Decatur County World's Largest Raccoon Hunt.  We invite you to learn more about the outreach projects supported by our congregation.

Listen to Last Week's Lesson

Don't Panic. Trust God.

03/22/2020 Morning Service, by Martin Klamm

In these trying times it is easy to panic, but we should trust God instead.

Note: This was the last lesson presented by Brother Martin before the onset of the pandemic. The message that it contains is still very relevant as we continue to struggle with COVID-19. We invite you to listen to recent lessons on Facebook LiveStream.

Which of these saves us?

"Which of these saves us?" is a question that many people ask regarding salvation. We invite you to examine this topic by visiting our Library page to see how the Bible answers this very important question.
